Xiaomi’s first smart watch has finally been launched on Tuesday in Beijing alongside Mi CC9 Pro and Mi TV 5 Series. Mi’s smartwatch is very much a resemblance of Apple Smartwatch. It will come with a 44mm dial and has a aluminium matte finish. It also has a curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Features and Price of Mi Smart Watch
Mi smartphone is featuring a 1.78 inch AMOLED display (368*468 pixels) with 326 PPI pixel density. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC processor. It supports various features like WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, Near Filed Communication (NFC) etc. It will support dual sims via Esim and has a battery of 560 mAh. As per what Mi States, this smartwatch will last up to more than 36 hours in a single charge.
There has been no news yet whether if this watch will be launched outside china or not. It is available in two colors- Black and Silver White. Its price in China is CNY 1299 which is approximately equal to $185. This smartwatch is also present in its premium variant which costs almost CNY 1999 which is equal to $285.
The Mi Smartwatch has various features for health and fitness like Sleep Tracking, Stress Tracking, Body Energy Tracking others. It does have various sensors like Heart Rate sensor, compass, barometer etc. Mi Smartwatch is completely water proof and swim proof.
Other Silent features of Mi Smartwatch
The Mi Smartwatch has 1 GB memory (RAM) and 8 GB Internal storage space. The strap is made of Rubber and dial shape is Square. It is ideal for both the genders and is available in Silver, Black, Grey, Blue colored straps. It will use MIUI based Operating System and also includes various components from Google Wear OS. Xiaomi has also installed its own Voice assistant in the Mi Smartwatch to enable the users to control their smart home devices. From the fashion’s point of view, most of the fashion geeks will agree that Mi Smartwatch appears to be comfortable with all attires.
Is it really a clone of Apple Smart watch?
No! If you will closely look at this smartwatch, you will find that it is very different from the classic Apple watch. The very first visual difference that one can find is- Mi smartwatch has a flat frame while Apple smartwatch has curved frame. The Mi Watch lacks many of the fitness features which Apple watch has. Where Apple doesn’t have any feature to track sleep and blood oxygen levels, Mi Watch covers you with these features.
